Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Lincoln, NE

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with rotating weekday call 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM and every other weekend call from Friday 7:00 PM to Sunday 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of general ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, and breast imaging
Assist with breast biopsies and interventional radiology procedures
Conduct NICU baby imaging including neonatal heads, kidneys, and spines
Support OR cases and vascular doppler studies
Transport patients to other modalities when volumes are low
Communicate and document effectively with radiologists and providers

Qualifications

ARDMS certification required (Abd and/or OB/GYN specialty)
BLS certification required
Experience in breast imaging and procedures, as well as NICU imaging
Pediatric or breast certifications are a plus
Driver's license required for radius verification (outside 50 miles)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Siemens Sequoia ultrasound equipment
Experience with Trophon probe cleaning system
Knowledge of EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS
Strong patient transport and documentation skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
