Education

• Certs/ARDMS (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT)
• RDMS is Medical Sonography
• RDCS is Cardiac Sonography
• RVT is Vascular Technology
• How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 4
• Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No
• Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties Echo's, Stress Echo's, TEE's, Vascular exams - Carotid, Venous and Arterials upper and lower
• Experience or 'Must have' skills
• Average # of scans/studies per day 25-30 scans per day for the lab
• EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use Mckesson/CHC
• Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Phillips
• Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Lance Lichty
• Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No
• Radiologist in-house? Cardiologist yes
• Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) No
• Shifts & Scheduling 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement Every 5-6th weekend of call
• Holiday Requirement One holiday call
