Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care
• Coordinate daily clinical operations to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient outcomes
• Oversee staffing, patient assignments, and continuity of care with a hands-on approach
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Support ongoing performance improvement and ensure regulatory compliance
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff to build trust and transparency

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact RN eligible) required
• Proven supervisory or charge nurse experience (preferred for this role)
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS or other specialty certs a plus
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership presence, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to coordinate care, prioritize tasks, and lead a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation
• Knowledge of long-term care and rehabilitation nursing best practices
• Leadership skills: coaching, conflict resolution, and team building
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes
• Comfortable with electronic health records and standard clinical software
