Location: Omaha, NE

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, including every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU
Monitor and manage cardiac, neurology, and nephrology patients
Titrate and manage drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes
Perform continuous EEG monitoring and critical thinking to problem-solve
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required at submittal
Minimum 1 year of PCU or similar experience preferred
Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple drips and titrate medications
Excellent communication and teamwork
Adaptability to fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Knowledge of cardiac, neurology, and renal conditions
