Shift Type: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, with rotating weekends as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and manage IV therapies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies
• Float to PCU or Burn unit as needed to support team coverage

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
• At least 1 year of recent Med Surg experience
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Willingness to float to PCU or Burn unit
• Driver's license required for radius rule verification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in EPIC charting system
• Ability to manage 5-6 patients with varying acuities
• Comfortable with heparin drips and telemetry monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
