Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare pediatric patients with care and compassion for surgical procedures
Monitor vital signs and ensure safety in the pre-op phase
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care
Advocate for young patients, making their experience as smooth as possible
Contribute to a healing environment at a top children's facility

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact state
Pediatric nursing experience preferred
BLS certification (ACLS/PALS a plus)
Compassionate demeanor for working with kids and families
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced pre-op setting

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment skills for pediatric patients
Knowledge of pre-operative protocols and safety measures
Excellent communication with children and parents
Proficiency in monitoring equipment and documentation
Team-oriented mindset in a specialized hospital environment
