Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and guide patient and family teaching, and coordinate activities of other nursing personnel
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic results
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital critical care
• Open Heart Experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• CCRN certification preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical Care nursing and open heart recovery
• Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Advanced cardiac life support
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
