Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and interpret results to guide patient care
• Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) and monitor cardiac rhythms
• Provide comprehensive respiratory care across ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Manage mechanical ventilation using PB980, Hamilton C1, and V60 BiPAP equipment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal treatment for patients aged 0-100
• Take independent initiative as the sole RT on shift when needed

Qualifications

• Active North Dakota Respiratory Therapy License required at time of submission
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - RRT preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS and NRP certifications preferred
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in using Meditech EMR for documentation
• Skilled in ventilator management with PB980, Hamilton C1, and V60 BiPAP
• Experienced in performing ABGs, EKGs, and all respiratory therapy duties
• Comfortable treating patients across all age ranges from neonates to geriatrics
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
