Location: Bismarck, ND

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts: 0600-1830 and 1800-0630, every third weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics
Manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen devices across ICU, NICU, and medical-surgical units
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and adjust treatment plans
Perform arterial blood gas analysis and interpret results
Respond to emergency codes and rapid response situations
Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment and home care

Qualifications

Must hold active RRT or CRT credential and ND state license
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent NICU experience is mandatory
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
Comfortable with Level II trauma and critical care settings

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, MR1, and V-60 Respironics
Strong understanding of neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory physiology
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment
