Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and provide nursing interventions for patients with cancer
Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology Team to provide quality patient care
Teach and counsel patients and families on diagnosis and treatment
Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary staff
Evaluate and examine patients with the Radiation Oncologist

Qualifications

Current RN license in Colorado
BLS and ACLS certifications
At least 2 years of RN Radiation Oncology experience
2 years of traveler experience as an RN
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinic environment

Education

RN degree

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of chronic illness and comorbidity management
Current knowledge of latest trends, skills, procedures, and protocols in hematology/oncology and internal medicine practice
Understanding of the latest evidence-based oncology, immunology, pharmacology, community health, and cultural sensitivity information
Ability to communicate with members of the multidisciplinary team
Flexibility and highly organized
