Registered Nurse - PCU/Oncology/Med Surg
Location: Omaha, NE
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a mixed PCU/Med Surg unit
- Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses
- Titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case management, and social work
- Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation and hourly rounding
- Float to med/surg and PCU units as required
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent PCU/Med Surg/Oncology experience
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ONS/ONCC and Chemotherapy certification preferred
- First-time travelers welcome to apply
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000)
- Ability to administer chemotherapy and manage oncology patients
- Comfortable titrating drips and responding to changing patient conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
