Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to oncology, PCU, and med/surg patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for reactions
Titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed
Ensure hourly rounding and patient experience focus

Qualifications

1 year of experience in PCU, Med/Surg, or Oncology
First-time travelers welcome
Must be at least 50 miles from facility (due to radius rule)
Chemotherapy certification required
BLS and ACLS required
ONS/ONCC certification required
EPIC experience preferred but not required
Minimum 1 year charge nurse experience

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and certification
Hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000)
Ventilator management
EPIC EMR
Alaris IV pumps
