Registered Nurse - Oncology PCU

Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating times (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, and various shift durations), every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions
Titrate intravenous medications such as insulin and cardizem
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient care
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska
BLS and ACLS certification required
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
Minimum 1 year of oncology and PCU experience
Willing to take a pass/fail exam during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of chemotherapy administration
Proficiency in EPIC EMR
Ability to manage multiple patient drips
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Adaptability to a fast-paced mixed unit
