Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to neuro telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and interpreting EKGs
• Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and care plans
• Maintain sterile field during procedures and pass competency exams

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent neuro telemetry experience within the past 6 months
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
• COVID vaccine required or religious/medical declination accepted
• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state

Knowledge & Skills

• EKG interpretation and centralized telemetry monitoring
• Proficiency in Cerner charting system
• Strong sterile technique skills
• Neuro assessment and critical thinking
