Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, schedule provided 6 weeks in advance, with weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients across multiple units
Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate heparin drips as ordered
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to sister facilities within Zone 1 as needed, adapting quickly to new environments
Float within assigned facility to units such as cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Serve as a resource and role model for patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with heparin titration is preferred
Ability to float across multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
Proficiency in managing various patient populations including cardiac, neuro, and surgical
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills for electronic health records
