Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 07-27-2026

End Date: 10-26-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips for arrhythmias
Administer and titrate cardiac drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to manage PCU-level overflow patients
Educate patients and families on cardiac health and recovery
Float to PCU, MS, or ER as needed to support hospital operations

Qualifications

Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of PCU or telemetry nursing experience
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and titrate drips
Previous travel experience a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and interpretation
IV therapy and medication administration
Patient assessment and critical thinking
Electronic Medical Records (Epic preferred)
Effective communication and teamwork
