Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 08-10-2026

End Date: 11-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and medical conditions
Monitor telemetry strips and interpret cardiac rhythms
Titrate cardiac drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro
Collaborate with charge nurse and multidisciplinary team to manage patient assignments
Assist with PCU-level overflow patients, maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 for PCU care
Float to other areas as needed, including MS and ER holds

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
Epic experience preferred, but first-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of cardiac nursing and telemetry monitoring
Proficient in medication titration and drips
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptable to fast-paced, changing patient conditions
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records
