Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery plans
• Document patient progress accurately and timely
• Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (or compact state)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of recent med/surg nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in medical-surgical nursing
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic patient interaction
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
