Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings, responding promptly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience preferred
• Telemetry monitoring experience is a plus
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in telemetry interpretation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients
