Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, FTE-based schedule with weekend requirement based on unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including those with CHF, diabetes, UTIs, and post-op needs
Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate heparin and Cardizem drips per protocol
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to other units as needed to support the hospital's patient load

Qualifications

Active WA or Compact RN license
BLS certification from AHA
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care setting
Experience with telemetry monitoring and drip titration (heparin, Cardizem)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry
Skilled in titration of heparin and Cardizem drips
Comfortable managing a variety of medical-surgical conditions
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
