Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to med-surg and ortho/spine post-op patients
Manage a patient ratio of 1:5 while delivering excellent nursing care
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in a critical access hospital setting
Respond to emergency situations with ACLS, PALS, and TNCC skills
Support patients and families through every step of their healing journey

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license required
Minimum 4 years of nursing experience with emphasis on med-surg and ortho/spine post-op
ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
COVID vaccination required per state mandate
Must live at least 65 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Education

Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong med-surg and ortho/spine post-op patient care experience
Comfortable working in a critical access hospital environment
Excellent assessment and emergency response skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Flexible and adaptable to holiday and night shift coverage needs
