Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, Days start at 7:00 AM and Nights start at 5:45 PM, rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Surgical ICU setting
Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex patient cases
Operate and manage medical equipment and technology
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a Cardiovascular ICU or similar setting
Current RN licensure and BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Experience working in a travel or contract capacity
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care and ICU nursing
Cardiovascular nursing and patient care
Medical terminology and EMR systems (Cerner)
Critical thinking and problem-solving
Effective communication and teamwork
