Contract Type: Per-Diem

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately in the emergency setting
Stabilize and manage acute conditions using evidence-based interventions
Coordinate care with physicians, techs, and other team members to ensure smooth transitions
Administer medications, monitor responses, and document thoroughly and promptly
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

Current RN license (ability to practice in New Hampshire required or eligible)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred or obtainable
Comfort working in a fast-paced ED/ER environment and managing multiple priorities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; compassionate patient-centered care
Previous ED/ER experience preferred but motivated new grads with strong clinical skills encouraged to apply

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
BSN preferred but open to qualified ADN candidates

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in emergency situations
Familiarity with emergency nursing workflows and documentation
Skilled in IV therapy, medication administration, and urgent interventions
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure
Good electronic health record (EHR) usage and accurate charting
