Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with on-call requirements

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a dialysis setting
Manage and titrate drips, including heparin
Perform AVF/AVG cannulation, CVC access, and hemodialysis complications management
Conduct peritoneal dialysis site care, catheter care, initiation, and termination
Precept new staff members as needed

Qualifications

Current RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
1 year of experience in acute care dialysis nursing
Peritoneal dialysis experience required
Competent with hookup and disconnect procedures

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

ACUTE CARE DIALYSIS nursing competencies
Hemodialysis complications management
Peritoneal dialysis site care and catheter care
AVF/AVG cannulation and CVC access
