Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holiday rotation, on-call with 30-minute response time
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality X-ray and imaging studies including brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
- Float to Mercy Southwest approximately 6.5 miles away as needed
- Operate GE and Toshiba imaging equipment with precision and care
- Utilize Radnet and Merge Unity PACS for image management
- Collaborate with radiologists and lead tech to ensure accurate diagnostics
Qualifications
- Valid ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification
- At least 2 years of experience in radiology
- Ability to take rotating call with 30-minute response time
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Radnet and Merge Unity PACS systems
- Experience with GE and Toshiba imaging equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment with high patient volume
