Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams in the hospital setting, including OR, portable, and outpatient exams
• Operate Siemens, Shimadzu, and Carestream imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records in Epic and PACS systems
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
• Assist with interventional radiology procedures as needed

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (R) certification required
• Active BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
• Must have OR/C-arm experience
• Colorado state license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of recent X-ray tech experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Epic EMR and PACS systems
• Technical expertise with Siemens, Shimadzu, and Carestream X-ray equipment
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety and image quality optimization
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
