Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments that make a real difference in patients' lives
Perform accurate simulations and treatment planning using advanced technology
Fabricate specialized treatment aids tailored to each patient's unique needs
Treat 25-30 patients daily across all treatment sites in a comprehensive cancer center
Collaborate with physicians to ensure every treatment follows the exact prescription
Provide compassionate care that meets each patient's age-specific requirements

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T)
Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible experience in radiation therapy
Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR

Education

ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required
Hawaii state license as a Radiation Therapist required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electron treatment modalities
Strong ability to assess and adapt care for patients of all ages
Comfortable treating all body sites in a full-service cancer center
Familiarity with Epic EMR system (transitioning November 2025)
Excellent attention to detail and patient safety focus
