Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 4x10-hour shifts (times vary)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver precise radiation treatments including External Beam (EBRT), IMRT, IGRT, SRT, VMAT, and Proton Therapy
Operate advanced equipment like TrueBeam and TomoTherapy, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Perform CT simulations and use Vision RT for accurate patient positioning
Manage an average of 34 patients per day with efficiency and compassion
Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize treatment plans using EPIC and Aria
Maintain meticulous records and adhere to strict safety protocols

Qualifications

Certification by ARRT in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) is required
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in radiation therapy
Proficiency with EPIC, Aria, TrueBeam, Vision RT, and CT equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in external beam and internal radiation treatments
Skill in brachytherapy, permanent implants, and stereotactic techniques
Familiarity with Proton Therapy, Gamma Knife, and microwave treatments
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle high patient volume
