Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on patient care as directed by Physical Therapists, making real differences in recovery journeys
Document treatment notes and progress updates with precision to track every milestone
Collaborate with healthcare teams to communicate patient progress and care plans effectively
Train nursing staff and families on maintenance programs for seamless transitions
Maintain a clean, welcoming treatment environment and ensure equipment is always ready
Participate in conferences and in-services to elevate rehabilitation standards

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in California
Proficiency in computer systems like Casamba and Point Click Care
Commitment to ongoing continuing education per state requirements
Ability to connect positively with patients, families, and colleagues

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and rehabilitation techniques
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Computer proficiency for electronic health records
Team collaboration and training abilities
