Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled physical therapy services to patients using evidence-based techniques
Assess patient mobility, strength and functional needs and set meaningful goals
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that help patients progress
Document evaluations, treatment plans and patient progress accurately in the EMR
Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other team members to coordinate care
Participate in orientation and team meetings to stay aligned with facility practices
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington or eligible for licensure
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
Comfortable delivering care in focused 4-hour shift blocks as indicated
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
Ability to document thoroughly and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; related advanced degree or BS/MS in a relevant field considered

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and treatment planning
Therapeutic exercise and gait training techniques
Use of common physical therapy modalities and adaptive equipment
Clear clinical documentation and familiarity with EMR systems
Interprofessional communication and teamwork
Problem-solving mindset and ability to prioritize patient safety
