Location: Bakersfield, CA
Start Date: 06-20-2026
End Date: 09-19-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Mostly Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional one day a week 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, one weekend every third weekend
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide acute inpatient physical therapy services to patients with various medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
Qualifications
- Current California Physical Therapy license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Acute inpatient physical therapy experience required
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Physical Therapy degree
Knowledge & Skills
- Physical therapy principles and practices
- Acute inpatient care experience
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
