End Date: 09-15-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM); may require weekend shift with a day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert physical therapy to a diverse mix of acute care patients, including those in ICU, med-surg, oncology, and cardiology
Work with orthopedic and total joint patients, as well as ventilated patients in the ICU
Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans
Hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on patient recovery
Adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment covering all areas of the hospital

Qualifications

At least 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience required
Current California PT license and BLS certification
Must have experience with ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patients
Comfortable treating med-surg, oncology, and cardiology populations
Proficient in Cerner EMR and ready to integrate into the team

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical reasoning and ability to prioritize in a busy hospital setting
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
