Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized occupational therapy to veterans in a skilled nursing setting
- Develop and implement treatment plans that restore independence and improve quality of life
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
- Assess patient needs and track progress toward meaningful goals
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques for daily living
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license
- Any experience level welcome, including new grads
- Passion for working with veterans in SNF environments
Education
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong OT clinical skills
- Patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and empathy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
