Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (32 hours/week)

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver top-notch outpatient and inpatient occupational therapy to patients of all ages
Conduct home visits and village travel to bring care where it's needed most
Collaborate closely with medical providers using evidence-based practices
Adapt care plans with cultural sensitivity and patient-specific needs
Champion professional ethics and respect in every interaction
Support the mission of working together for excellent health

Qualifications

Licensed in good standing in Alaska as an OT (or eligible and awaiting)
NBCOT certification
Current BLS certification
Proof of required immunizations including Hepatitis A/B, Varicella, MMR, T-Dap, Polio
COVID vaccinations completed

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Evidence-based medicine integration
Strong patient care documentation
Effective communication across cultures
Didactic skills for direct access practice
Ability to interpret medical literature and compose correspondence
