Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine occupational therapy treatment plans
Implement programs to help patients develop or regain physical or mental functioning
Promote maximum independence by selecting and constructing therapies according to individual needs
Evaluate results of occupational therapy and recommend adjustments and modifications
Complete discharge planning and ensure continuation of therapeutic plans

Qualifications

Occupational Therapy License issued by the state of Colorado
Valid registration certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
BLS certification required
1 year of experience in occupational therapy

Education

Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions
Understanding of human behavior and performance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
