Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care
• Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment
• Promote independence and enhance quality of life for each patient

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Connecticut (or compact eligible)
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in functional assessments and treatment planning
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Excellent documentation and time management skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Flexibility to adapt to diverse patient needs
