Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Santa Maria, CA

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality PET/CT scans by administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating advanced imaging equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize diagnostic outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Valid California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience with PET/CT imaging preferred
Education
- Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in radiopharmaceutical handling and administration
- Proficiency in PET/CT scanner operation and image processing
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
