Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in the Casa Real area
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
Perform assessments, monitor patient status, and promptly report changes
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans
Educate patients and families with clear, respectful communication
Maintain professional standards, follow facility protocols, and promote safety

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (New Mexico preferred)
Local candidates only — must be able to commute to Santa Fe, NM
Availability to start ASAP, within 2 weeks or less
Comfortable working a 12+ hour day shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Strong communication, charting, and patient advocacy skills

Education

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program or equivalent credential

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of LPN scope of practice and clinical nursing fundamentals
Medication administration and documentation accuracy
Basic assessment and vital signs interpretation
Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment while keeping patient safety first
Teamwork mindset and effective communication with patients, families, and staff
