Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed (facility timezone: America/New_York)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents with attention to dignity and comfort
Administer medications and treatments accurately following facility protocols
Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes promptly to the care team
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and other staff to create and follow individualized care plans
Support resident activities of daily living and encourage independence whenever possible
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents and families to keep them informed and reassured

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Pennsylvania or compact/state-appropriate licensure
Current CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain promptly
Demonstrated clinical skill in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Clear background check and TB/immunization compliance as required by facility
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but enthusiastic new grads encouraged to apply

Education

Completed Practical Nursing program (LPN/LVNs diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong basic assessment skills and ability to recognize changes in condition
Excellent communication and documentation habits
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
Compassionate resident-centered care approach
