Shift Type: Sunday, Friday, Saturday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to care plans
Perform focused patient assessments and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient responses in the chart
Provide compassionate bedside care and support resident dignity and comfort
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to coordinate patient care
Maintain clear, timely documentation and follow facility policies and procedures
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
Valid basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working 12+ hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) on scheduled days
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program; high school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Ability to perform focused nursing assessments and monitor changes
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate charting
Strong infection control and patient safety awareness
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
