Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with mobility, bathing, dressing, feeding, and comfort measures
• Take and record vital signs and communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Support safe patient transfers and follow established infection control practices
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality care
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain competency and best practices

Qualifications

• Current LNA certification or state nursing assistant credential (NH preferred)
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain per facility requirements
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfort working 12.5-hour shifts and participating in required orientation
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward team-based care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and safe mobility techniques
• Taking and reporting vital signs accurately
• Basic documentation and charting skills
• Infection control practices and safe use of PPE
• Teamwork, clear communication, and patient-centered care
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
