Education

• Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements VI or CV certifications a plus.
• How many scanners/rooms does this department have? Four rooms, including neuro IR
• Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No floating. IR only
• Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties All IR procedures. St. Anthony is also a comprehensive stroke center so neuro IR procedures also.
• Experience or 'Must have' skills Prior IR experience required. Neuro IR preferred
• Average # of scans/studies per day
• EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC.
• Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Siemens and Phillips.
• Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Mike Bass is the IR supervisor.
• Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? Not used
• Radiologist in-house? Our radiologists are in-house during the day and on-call nights and weekends.
• Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) IV starts are not in the job description for this role.
• Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Primary shift is dayshift. 0700 - 1730. Four 10 hour days.
• Weeknight/Call Requirements On call around 8 shifts including 1 weekend in a 6 week period.
• Weekend/Call Requirements On call around 8 shifts including 1 weekend in a 6 week period.
• Holiday/Call Requirements As needed
• What is call response time? 30 minutes
