Roles & Responsibilities

Perform routine histology procedures including embedding and microtomy
Conduct IHC and special stains testing
Work with digital pathology systems
Maintain detailed and organized records

Qualifications

BLS certification required
HT (Histotechnician) or HLT (Histotechnologist) certification through ASCP preferred
2+ years of experience in histology
Associate's degree preferred

Education

Associate's degree in a related field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Histology and laboratory testing
IHC and special stains procedures
Digital pathology systems
Epic Beaker and Roche equipment
