Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with patient preparation and instrument setup
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area between patients
• Take and develop dental radiographs following safety protocols
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record
• Provide patients with post‑procedure instructions and answer basic oral health questions
• Manage inventory of supplies and ensure proper sterilization of instruments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Dental Assistant certification (e.g., CDA) preferred
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical environment
• Prior experience in a dental office is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization techniques
• Basic radiography skills and safety standards
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
