Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments between patients
• Take and develop dental radiographs as directed
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Provide patients with post‑procedure instructions and answer basic questions

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or completion of an accredited program
• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic knowledge of dental terminology and infection control
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental software and charting systems
• Understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
• Skill in instrument handling and sterilization techniques
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Team‑oriented mindset with a patient‑first attitude
