Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with braces and Invisalign procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take dental X-rays and impressions
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Ensure a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or license as required by Virginia
• At least 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience preferred
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Familiarity with dental software and digital X-ray systems

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in orthodontic procedures including braces and Invisalign
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
