Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-10 hour days with unrestricted overnight call and weekend hotel call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $364 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert CV anesthesiology for open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases
Assist with general OR procedures as needed
Perform TEE-guided procedures in a high-volume cardiac program
Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and support staff in a dynamic Level 1 Trauma center
Contribute to 360-450 cardiac cases annually, making a real impact on patient outcomes

Qualifications

TEE certified with testamur status in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography
Completed ACGME-approved CV anesthesia fellowship or 5+ years documented CV anesthesia experience with strong recommendations
Eligible for Nebraska license, even if needing to obtain one
Comfortable with adult and geriatric patients, no pediatrics
