Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility while preserving dignity
Support safe patient transfers and proper use of assistive devices
Document care provided accurately and timely in patient records
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver great care
Maintain a clean, safe and supportive environment for patients

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or equivalent) — Pennsylvania license encouraged
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset
Ability to safely lift, move and assist patients as required
Prior experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus but new grads are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and infection control practices
Skillful assistance with ADLs and mobility support
Ability to observe, record and communicate patient changes clearly
Familiarity with electronic charting and basic documentation
Teamwork mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare setting
