Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene assistance
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient positioning
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nursing staff with daily care tasks and documentation
Maintain clean and safe patient environments and follow infection control practices
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through clear, caring communication

Qualifications

Active CNA certification required (must be valid in Pennsylvania)
Current basic life support (BLS) preferred or required per facility policy
Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate direct patient care
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to complete facility onboarding paperwork

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Completed accredited CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic patient care tasks and resident mobility support
Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
Comfortable documenting care in electronic or paper records
Good observation skills to recognize and report changes in condition
Customer-service mindset when interacting with residents and families
