Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations across three outpatient clinics (Cardiothoracic, Vascular Surgery, Pediatric Cardiology) to ensure excellent patient flow and care
Lead, mentor, and hold staff accountable — coach performance and support professional growth
Coordinate clinic workflows, scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency
Ensure compliance with clinical policies, infection control, and safety standards
Perform competency checks and maintain required certifications for clinic staff
Communicate clearly with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and administration to resolve issues and improve care processes

Qualifications

Active California LVN license (required)
3–5 years of charge/manager experience in the last 3 years (outpatient/surgical or cardiac surgery clinic preferred)
Current BLS (AHA or ARC) required
IV certification required
Flu vaccination required (no exemptions/no declinations)
Ambulatory/outpatient clinical experience and staff management experience
Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
Pending license is not accepted

Education

Vocational Nursing program graduate (LVN) and active CA LVN license
High school diploma or GED (minimum)

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with Epic charting (preferred)
Experience in cardiology/vascular or pediatric cardiology settings preferred
Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills
Scheduling and clinic operations expertise
Comfort working with adult and pediatric patient populations
